Course description

This course corresponds to the requirements for scaffolding with a working height of up to 9 meters. The purpose of this training is to increase the knowledge and awareness of the participant, and to ensure a safe working environment.
Falling accidents are the most common cause of death in the construction industry. That is one of the reasons why trained scaffold builders are necessary. The Swedish Work Environment Agency has introduced penalty fees to all companies that violate the requirement for training.

The Work Environment Act (1977:1160)

According to the Work Environment Act, the employer must make sure that the employee has the training needed to build or dismantle a scaffold and knows what he has to observe to avoid the risks at work.

Scaffolding (AFS 2013:04 § 47)

According to the Swedish Work Environment Authority’s regulations, anyone who erects, significantly changes or dismantles a scaffold must have training in scaffolding. If you violate the requirement for training for scaffolding, the Work Environment Agency has introduced penalty fees to all companies.

After passing the test, a training certificate is issued to the participant.

Target group

The scaffold training is aimed at scaffold builders, supervisors and others concerned. Anyone who builds, changes or dismantles scaffolding up to 9 metres, all supervisors and others who need to know which safety requirements and rules apply to scaffolding work.
